Three charged in Mount Olive slaying
The unidentified victim was found injured on Feb. 22 and later died, police said.
Posted — UpdatedDemario Montrell Leach, 21, Demontae Antwan Leach, 26, and Michael Brandon Faison, 20, all of Mount Olive, have been charged with murder and were being held Wednesday without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
The unidentified victim was found injured on Feb. 22 and later died, police said.
Police were seeking the public's help in identifying the victim. He was described as a Latino man, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 108 pounds. He has a 2-inch scar running from his left eyebrow down around his left eye, and he also has short black hair, a thin black mustache and a goatee.
The victim was known to travel on foot in the Center Street and Cleveland Drive areas of Mount Olive and might have gone by the name “Arturo," police said.
