Three arrested after Aug. 1 shooting of Raleigh man

A man has been arrested in the Aug. 1 shooting death of William Stanton Kinney, 36.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man has been arrested in the Aug. 1 shooting death of William Stanton Kinney, 36.

Raleigh police responded to the shooting by the Hammond Road exit ramp on Interstate 40 in Raleigh around 3:30 a.m.

Kinney was transported to WakeMed, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Marcaus Harris, 19, was charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Two other suspects, Terry Gray, 26, and Noshakir Tysha Lewis, 23, were also charged in Kinney's death.
