RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Folks put their best foot forward Sunday to fight heart disease.
About 10,000 people participate in the annual Triangle Heart Walk held at Research Triangle Park.
Not all contributions have been counted yet, but so far, the event has raised $800,000.
The money will go towards research and education.
