NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A former student shot through the doors of a Christian elementary school Monday and killed three children and three adults after elaborately planning the massacre by drawing out a detailed map and conducting surveillance of the building, police said.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A spokesperson for Duke Energy said a power outage affected parts of downtown Durham for more than an hour on Saturday.

Equipment failure caused a fire at the downtown substation, knocking out power around 11:50 a.m.

Approximately 5,800 customers lost power, and police directed traffic around affected intersections throughout the downtown area.

Crews restored power shortly before 1:30 p.m.
