NASHVILLE, N.C. — A Rocky Mount man was arrested late Thursday in connection with a Sunday night home invasion in Nashville, authorities said.

Gregory Devonte Robertson, 18, of Hyatt Way, was charged with three counts of first-degree kidnapping and one count each of first-degree burglary and robbery with dangerous weapon. He was being held in the Nash County jail under a $500,000 bond.

The home invasion occurred at a home on Old White Oak Road. On Sunday, investigators said they were looking for three men wearing red bandannas around their faces who fled in either a silver or gray car.

Two Sharpsburg men were arrested earlier in the incident.

Tony Marichal Sharp, 19, of Weaver Circle, and Byron Dale Whitaker, 21, of Sharpe Road, each face charges of first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of first-degree kidnapping.

Whitaker also faces charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual offense.
