These Colorful Aprons Have a Charitable Side
Tilit, a family-run New York company that makes and sells aprons and other chefs’ gear, has introduced its first apron for children. All cotton, the Schoolyard Apron comes in four colors (with adjustable straps in a contrasting color) and two sizes. Matching aprons for adults are also available. For each children’s apron sold, Tilit will donate $10 to Edible Schoolyard NYC, the nonprofit school food program founded by Alice Waters.
