RALEIGH, N.C. — Have a delicious meal at a beer or wine dinner this week and see some comedy on stage.

Monday

Monday is the last day of the Escapism Film Festival at the Carolina Theatre in Durham. Movie screenings, including "This Is Spinal Tap" and "The Last Unicorn," are from 2-11 p.m.

Tuesday

Cave Taureau and Rue Cler in Durham team up for a four-course wine dinner Tuesday evening. They will be highlighting Authentique Vin, an importer of small-producer French wines based in North Carolina.

Wednesday

Playmakers Repertory Company brings comedy to Chapel Hill with the Tony Award-winning play "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike." Tickets start at $15.

Thursday

Benson's annual festival kicks off Thursday. Benson Mule Days includes family-friendly fun like rodeos, music, arts and crafts and parades. On Thursday, enjoy carnival rides, free trolley rides, a concert and more.
Natty Greene's is coming to Midtown Grille Thursday evening for a five-course beer dinner. The menu includes scallops, "duck a few ways" and sticky toffee pudding. Reservations are $55.

Friday

Heading into the weekend, "Last Comic Standing" winner Josh Blue takes the stage at Goodnight's Comedy Club. Shows contine on Saturday. Tickets start at $15.
The NC Symphony brings "West Side Story" to life Friday evening. As the newly remastered film is shown on the big screen in high definition, the symphony will play the score live.
