RALEIGH, N.C. — There's a little bit of everything in the Triangle this week - food, sports, films and more!
Monday
The North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival continues today with screenings in the evening at Carolina Theatre. The festival has attracted thousands of people every year since its creation in 1995. Tickets start at $10 per film.
Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week begins today and continues through Sunday. Make your dinner reservations soon!
Tuesday
The Durham Bulls' season is winding down. Watch them take on the Norfolk Tides at the DBAP Tuesday evening.
Also in Durham, Whole Foods is hosting a Beer & Brats Tailgate from 5-7 p.m. featuring Dogfish Head Beer Brats with beer-infused kraut, fennel slaw, stone ground mustard, pilsner ketchup and beer from Natty Greene's.
Wednesday
Explore restaurants in Fayetteville with the Downtown Fayetteville Small Plate Crawl, which is Wednesday through Friday. Participating restaurants include Circa 1800, Pierro's Italian Bistro, Sherefe, The Wine Café and more.
Wednesday is also the DBAP's popular Bark in the Park event. Watch baseball with your dog!
Thursday
Learn about the science of beer at the NC Museum of Natural Science's Natural Selections event. There will be samples, discussions and educational sessions. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for the public.
Friday
Popular play Hairspray opens at Raleigh Little Theatre this evening. Tickets are $24 for adults and $20 for students and seniors.
