The week ahead: Mystery beer dinner, Charlie Murphy

RALEIGH, N.C. — A beer dinner with Mystery Brewing and Dos Perros, a popular comedian and a weekend shopping event are all coming up.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the Ackland Art Museum with Yoga in the Galleries. They also hold a Tai Chi class. Registration is free for Ackland members and $5 for everyone else.

Take in some bluegrass, folk and Americana at Tir na nOg Tuesday night. Beer & Banjos is free, and it's also pint night.

Dos Perros is hosting a Mystery Brewing beer dinner and costume party Wednesday evening. The menu includes dishes like black bean and caramelized onion enchiladas and crispy chicken with apple-poblano puree. Reservations are $40.

Comedian Charlie Murphy takes the stage at Goodnight's Comedy Club Thursday night. Tickets start at $31.

The four-day shopping fundraiser A Shopping SPREE! kicks off Thursday at the Raleigh Convention Center. General admission tickets are $10 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Junior League of Raleigh’s Center for Community Leadership and other community projects.
