As if being vaccinated against COVID wasn't enough of a reward, many people are excited to receive a special sticker, pin or buttons after their shot.

Many people are flooding social media with photos of their COVID vaccine stickers in celebration.

One woman on Twitter said what we're all thinking, "At what age do kids stop being overjoyed at sticker rewards from the nurse? Because it ain’t 39!"

Because of the social media buzz around vaccine stickers, some are calling them the new 'I Voted' sticker.

Whatever you do, hold onto your buttons and stickers – in 50 years, these will be little relics from a historic pandemic and a historic vaccine.

Curious what the COVID vaccine stickers look like locally?
