The History of Milk (Dairy Snacks Included)

Mark Kurlansky, who has written tomes on oysters, cod and salt, covers the history of milk and humankind’s relationship to dairy products in his latest book, “Milk! A 10,000-Year Food Fracas.” He will discuss milk — as it relates to issues like agriculture and child-rearing — with Kat Johnson of Heritage Radio Network. Milk, ice cream, cheese and beer will be served, and Kurlansky will sign copies of his book: Milk!
