RALEIGH, N.C. — The Children's Place has issued a recall for girls’ infant snowsuits sold in sizes up to 18 months.

The company says the snowsuits have metal snaps on them that could become detached and pose a choking hazard to babies and toddlers.

The recalled snowsuits were sold in two styles and three colors or patterns. Affected style numbers are: 2111187, 2111187 and 2111188.

About 14,900 were sold in the U.S.
