Just in case you have to make a last minute trip to the grocery or drug store on Thanksgiving Day, here are the hours for our local stores.
Many grocery stores will be open in the morning, but some are closed all day.
These hours are valid Thursday, November 23, 2017. Keep in mind that some individual stores may be open later or close earlier. Most of the hours posted below are from the store sales ads this week or listed on their websites.
Aldi will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Carlie C's will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 2 pm. Their pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
CVS: Most CVS stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day but hours may vary from store to store. The Pharmacy hours at stores will vary. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday.
Dollar General will be open from 7:00 am - 10 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Food Lion will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Harris Teeter will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 2:00 pm. They will reopen on Friday, November 24 at 8 am.
Kroger will be open until 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day and will reopen at 7 am on Friday, November 24. All pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Lowes Foods will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Publix stores and pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday. Pharmacy hours will vary.
Target: Most stores will be open from 6 pm on Thursday, 11/23 – midnight. They will then reopen on Friday, 11/24 from 6 am to 10 pm.
Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day according to the ad. Some pharmacy locations will be open. Check with your store for details.
Walmart: Most Walmart stores will be open regular hours on Thursday. See your store for details regarding the pharmacy.
