Posted — UpdatedWhenever I go to Texas Roadhouse, there are three things I have to get: a Cactus Blossom, a massive prime rib and a Hurricane Margarita. While I wouldn’t dare try to recreate the first two at home, I should now be able to handle the cocktail.
Kenny’s Cooler
- 1 1/4 ounces coconut rum
- 3/4 ounce peach schnapps
- 1/2 ounce non-alcoholic blue curaçao syrup
- 1/2 ounce sweet and sour mix
- 6 ounces lemonade
- Cherry
- Orange slice
Armadillo Punch
- 1 1/4 ounces coconut rum
- 1 1/2 ounces orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
- Orange slice
The Jamaican Cowboy is great for people who prefer a bit of tequila with their rum. It’s also got pineapple, orange, cranberry and peach flavors.
Jamaican Cowboy
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1/2 ounce peach schnapps
- 1/2 ounce coconut rum
- 1 ounce orange juice
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 3 ounces margarita mix
- Orange slice
Rim a glass with your choice of salt or sugar. Fill glass with ice. Pour all drink ingredients, except orange slice, into a shaker. Shake or stir and pour over ice. Garnish with orange slice.
Sangria Red
- 3 1/2 ounces red wine
- 2 1/2 ounces orange juice
- 1/2 ounce sweet and sour mix
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1/2 ounce peach puree
- 1/2 ounce brandy
- Splash of lemon-lime soda
- Lime wedge
- Cherry
- Orange Slice
Fill a glass with ice. Pour all ingredients — except soda, lime wedge, cherry and orange slice — into a shaker and shake. Pour into glass over ice. Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Garnish with lime wedge, cherry and orange slice.
