Terry Sanford student arrested in school bus vandalism

Cumberland County sheriff's detectives arrested a Terry Sanford High School student Friday morning and charged him with vandalizing two school buses.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's detectives arrested a Terry Sanford High School student Friday morning and charged him with vandalizing two school buses.

Allen Lloyd Terrell, 19, of 213 Colonial Drive is charged with misdemeanor larceny, felony breaking and entering, as well as misdemeanor injury to personal property.

Investigators believe Terrell had at least two accomplices on Aug. 24 when he broke into two buses parked at Ramsey Street Alternative School, on Quincy Street in Fayetteville.

The men damaged seats, video cameras and safety equipment on buses nos. 581 and 288, investigators said. Terrell was captured on video tape urinating inside a bus.

He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on $2,000 secured bond.

Anyone who may know the identity of those who were with Terrell at the time of the crime is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.
