CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — From Oct. 17 to 20, the TerraVita Food & Drink Festival will host special dinners and classes with topics ranging from heirloom apples, craft spirits in the Southeast and fermentation to Instant Pot cooking and barbecue. But the ninth annual festival that takes place in and around Chapel Hill will wrap up, as it always does, under a big tasting tent at the Village Green at Southern Village.
This year, the Fall Fête, on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 20, will feature more than 40 chefs and food artisans from across the state of North Carolina – representing the coast, the mountains and everything in between. In addition, about two dozen beverage producers will offer sustainably-sourced beverages from across the globe, including microbrews, spirits, craft sodas, organic coffees, drinking vinegars, and biodynamic, organically-grown and natural wines.
