GREENVILLE, N.C. — An 18-year-old man was robbed and assaulted by four teenagers in the parking lot of J.H. Rose High School in Greenville Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police said that Paris White, 17, confronted Jonathan Taylor, of Greenville, in the parking lot around 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from him. Taylor said that he didn't have any money and kept walking.

White and three other people then assaulted Taylor and stole his cell phone, police said. They fled in a four-door, silver Mercury.

Taylor was treated for minor injuries at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

White, of 110-A Cherry Court, and Kashawn Lindsay, 18, of 305 Line Ave., were arrested Thursday and each charged with one count of common-law robbery. They were placed in the Pitt County jail under separate $20,000 bonds.

Two other suspects – Secora Annetta, 16, of 110-A Paul Court, and Trey Xavier Dolberry, 18, of 1629 Wimbledon Drive, Apt. 74 – remain at large.
