Teen wounded in Raleigh park shooting dies

Raleigh, N.C. — A 16-year-old wounded Thursday afternoon in a Raleigh shooting has died, police said Friday.
Waly Malik Faye, was found shot near the playground in Brentwood Park, off Vinson Court, at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police haven't released any other details of the shooting, other than saying it wasn't random.
A 911 caller reported seeing blood coming from the teen's head.
Faye was a freshman at Sanderson High School.
Brentwood Park remained closed until Friday afternoon as police investigated the shooting.
