<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A 17-year-old girl was shot in the rear parking lot of Main Street Apartments in Durham Monday night and authorities are looking for the gunman, police said.

The victim was shot in the thigh with a small-caliber weapon, police said. She was taken to Duke University Hospital.

Officers were dispatched to 621 E. Main St. around 9:30 p.m. They were canvassing the area looking for the shooter, but said they didn't have a suspect description.
