Teen shot and killed in Wilson, police say

Wilson, N.C. — Police in Wilson were searching for clues after a teenager was shot and killed Friday night, authorities said Saturday.
Luis Bravo, 16, of Wilson, died at the scene after police were called to 1602 MLK Boulevard shortly after 9:30 p.m. for a report of a person who had been shot, according to a statement released by the Wilson Police Department.
When police arrived in the area of 1700 Freeman Street, they found Bravo suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said. Paramedics attempted to revive the teen, but he died at the scene.
Police did not say if anyone has been questioned or arrested in connection with the slaying. Investigators also did not say if a motive for the killing was known.
