A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody in connection to a Halloween night shooting in Raleigh that left one Millbrook Magnet High School student dead and two other teenagers injured.
The Raleigh Police Department said "through investigative means" they found the 15-year-old boy who they say played a role in the shooting.

A secure custody order was issued, the police department said, and the juvenile was taken into custody. Charges have not yet been announced due to the teen's age. They will be determined in the juvenile justice system.
Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman would not say if the teenager would be charged as an adult or not.
Police said they are continuing to investigate this shooting, and ask that anyone who may have information reach out to the police department at 919-996-1193.
According to 911 calls released from the shooting, a teenage boy who called for help after the shooting said he didn't know who shot the group of boys, who were out trick-or-treating. He said he saw one person run away after shooting the teenagers.
He also told 911 dispatchers that he and his friends were unarmed.
The shooting happened at the River Birch Apartment complex near the area of the 2700 block of Summer Boulevard.
Xzavion Lawton, 16, died after he was shot in the chest, his mother told WRAL News. Lawton was a junior at Millbrook Magnet High School in Raleigh. Three months ago, Lawton's family moved from Hampton, Virginia, where he played high school football.
"He and a friend grabbed their masks and he said, 'Mom, I'm going trick-or-treating,'" said Noel Hill, Lawton's mother.
Hill said Lawton went trick-or-treating with three friends, two of whom were also shot. She said the other two boys who were hospitalized are expected to survive. Authorities described one of the boy's injuries as critical.
