CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A teenager remained in critical condition Sunday with injuries he suffered in a one-car crash in Chapel Hill early Saturday.

Conrad Zaborowsky, 18, lost control of his car on Seawell School Road, police said. He then overcorrected, the vehicle ran into a wooded area where he collided with trees, then the car spun back into the road and caught fire.

Investigators said Zaborowsky was going more than 100 mph in a 35 mph zone. Alcohol was a factor in the crash, police said.
