FOUR OAKS, N.C. — Amy Stroud knows how important her lessons are to her special needs students at Four Oaks Elementary School in Johnston County.
"I love the teaching piece because I can see them every day be successful in something, and you don’t get that in every job," says Stroud.
Stroud works with K-5 students virtually and is doing her best to keep them encouraged.
"I can help kids that would typically not have a chance at being successful or making success. I can help them overcome the challenges that life has given them," she said.
