<b>TARBORO, N.C.</b> — A man accused of cutting his wife's throat was arrested on Sunday.

According to the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a domestic incident Sunday morning at a home along Woodcroft Lane near Tarboro.

Lester Davis, 66, was taken into custody. Specific charges were not listed.

Davis' wife was hospitalized and listed in stable condition, according to officials.
