Hello everyone. I'm meteorologist Peter Sherwood. In the severe weather center, high pressure is going to be in full control again today, that will allow us to see mostly sunny conditions and warm temperatures in the eighties. But I am tracking this cold front that's moving across the Midwest. You can see the showers associated with it. Some severe weather will get going across the Midwest associated with that cold front. But by the time moves into our region, our rain chances are going to be limited. We are going to see warm highs today tomorrow and Thursday climbing to 82 degrees today, 81 tomorrow, 80 degrees on Thursday, we do have that cold front moving in that will drop temperatures for the weekend morning readings by Sunday will fall into the forties and we are going to see those highs in the sixties, so get ready for it. Some big changes will soon move in 49 for the low on Sunday and then Monday looking at 46 degrees, it's going to be chilly but it won't stay chilly for too long. I was looking at some computer models and looking ahead into most of next week, warmer highs will build back in. So we're going to get a nice little taste of fall to develop. So, temperatures are slightly above normal for this time of the year and with a nice dip in the jet stream below normal highs, we'll be moving in for the weekend and it is going to feel a little chilly out there. So 78 for the high temperature today as we head out and about with mostly sunny skies, we'll head to 82 degrees for the afternoon. Again, those high temperatures are going to range in the 80 s all across the Hawing area. 82 and seven Pines, 81 in South Hill. And once we head into the weekend, that's when we're going to see those cooler highs filled in temperatures in the upper seventies for Friday, 73 for Saturday and then 68 for Sunday with those morning lows down into the 40
