Suspects in credit union robbery sought

Two armed men robbed a North Raleigh credit union Tuesday morning, Raleigh police reported.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two armed men robbed a North Raleigh credit union Tuesday morning, Raleigh police reported.

The RTP Federal Credit Union at 7560 Creedmoor Road was held up at gunpoint in mid-morning. The robbers fled with an undetermined amount of money.

The first suspect is described by Raleigh police as a black man, 6'2" tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black stocking cap mask, black clothing and black boots.

The second suspect was similarly clothed, but was shorter. Witnesses estimated he was 5'7" tall and weighed 200 pounds.
