Police on Wednesday released surveillance images of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery driver last month in Raleigh.

Two men wearing black jackets and blue jeans robbed the employee at gunpoint around 11 p.m. on Nov. 17, following a delivery near the 5400 block of Portree Place, investigators said.

One of the suspected robbers, police said, was captured on surveillance video minutes later at a convenience store less than 3 miles away in the 3800 block of Carlton Avenue.

Investigators said they think he might have been in a late-model gray Chevrolet Impala four-door sedan.

In one of the photos, a man wearing a black snow cap, black jacket and faded blue jeans, appears to be purchasing a case of some type of beverage, which police believe was purchased with a stolen financial card.

A second photo is of the same man, with a smile on his face, walking outside the store toward a gray vehicle.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
