FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Law enforcement authorities in Cumberland County are searching for a man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle who entices his victims by asking them if they want to ride on his before taking them to a secluded spot and beating and sexually assaulting them.

Investigators say the man, who met the victims in the Massey Hill area, will take his victims to a secluded, dead-end road off of NC Highway 87 before he assaults them physically and sexually.

The man is wanted for at least two sexual assaults in Fayetteville, which occurred within hours of the other on Oct. 21.

A picture of the suspect was taken from a surveillance camera mounted at a busines on NC-301, which investigators say is not far from where the attacks have taken place.

Footage from the business captured a woman on the back of the man's motorcycle. Hours later, the same camera captures the man leaving the area on the motorcycle and the woman is not seen again on camera.

The man is described as a taller male with blonde hair, and he is possibly balding. He's muscular, with a very noticeable scar on his cheek.

The motorcycle he is riding is a dark-colored Harley Davidson.

Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis Wright said the man uses his bike to lure his victims.

"He pulls up to the victim (and) tells them they look pretty or just flatters them and asks them do they want to take a ride," Write said. "Then they'll get on the back of the motorcycle and he takes them to that secluder area where he sexually and physically assaults these victims."

The sheriff said there are at least two known victims, and they believe more victims are possible.
