Police said the man entered the Family Fare BP, 2685 Chapel Hill Blvd., around 9:45 a.m. on Monday and took two 12-packs of beer from the cooler. When an employee confronted him, the man shouted, pushed her to the ground and fled with the beer.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25 to 35-years-old, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-2 and 200 to 240 pounds with a muscular build. He was wearing a doo-rag, a red T-shirt, blue jeans and red tennis shoes. He left in a blue vehicle.
