Suspect sought after man shot in Apex
Law enforcement authorities were searching Monday for a suspect who shot and wounded a man during a dispute in Apex, officials said.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. at a location in the 4600 block of Arrowhead Drive.
Officers were called to the location on a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found Raython Lee Dawkins, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to WakeMed for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, a spokesman for the Wake County Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators identified the suspect as Sharrod Battle, and they were searching for him as of 10 p.m. Monday night.
Authorities have not yet said what the two men were fighting about or if they knew each other.
