SPRING LAKE, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with a shooting Monday that injured three men surrendered to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office early Saturday. A Fort Bragg soldier also died in the shooting, but a suspect in his slaying hasn't been named.

Investigators believe that Eric Jervey, 28, of 205 Apt. B Law Road, shot Norman V. Brown, 28, Tony Brown, 26, and LaQuan Demar Whitted, 31, of Fayetteville Monday in the Browns' mobile home at 1324 Alden St. They were treated for serious injuries at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Christopher Mitchell Bridges, 21, who belonged to an Army support unit, was killed, but Jervey has not been charged in the death.

Jervey faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, felony conspiracy and first-degree burglary. He had been named as a suspect on Friday.

He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center. A bond had not yet been set. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
