ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A man wanted for a break-in was caught after a witness saw him breaking into another house Friday evening, Rocky Mount police said.

A man called police to say he had seen a green vehicle with four men inside pull up to the back of a residence at 228 Clayton St. shortly before 8 p.m. Three men kicked in the back door, took out a 52-inch television set and drove away.

One of the suspects was identified as Joshua Deloach, 21, who was wanted for an earlier break-in, police said. He was caught after a brief foot chase.

Deloach was charged with breaking-and-entering in the new case and served warrants for the previous one. He was placed in the Nash County Jail under a $17,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Tuesday.

Police said the other suspects in the break-in haven't been identified.

Deloach has convictions for delivering or selling drugs in Nash County, according to state Department of Correction records.
