CARY, N.C. — One person was in custody Monday after an overnight robbery at a home in downtown Cary.

Officials said multiple suspects forced their way into a home at 1006 Parkthrough St., near Chatham Street and West Street, around 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Victims said they saw the suspects carrying handguns, but no shots were fired.

The suspects took personal items, including a video game system, according to officials.

Police arrested one person but are looking for other suspects.

At 5 a.m., officers and a K-9 team were still investigating the crime scene.
