Suspect ID'd in Wake Forest bank robbery

Wake Forest police are looking for Lanson Paul Stalf, 37, who is wanted in connection with a bank robbery on Wednesday.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Wake Forest police said Thursday that they have identified a man wanted in connection with a local bank robbery.

An arrest warrant was issued for Lanson Paul Stalf, 37, who is wanted on a charge of common law robbery in connection with the crime at PNC Bank, at 3619 Rogers Road, which happened after noon Wednesday.

Police said they believe Stalf was wearing a navy blue running jacket, white baseball cap and white hooded sweatshirt at the time of the crime.
