Suspect arrested in apartment shooting

Raleigh police responded to a report of a shooting Thursday morning at 1911-106 Orchard Hollow Way.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The suspect in a double shooting at an apartment complex was taken into custody Thursday evening, Raleigh police said.

Jeremiah Thadius McLean, 26, is charged with two counts of attempted murder. He was taken into custody at a northeast Wake County residence.

The charges are in connection with a Thursday morning shooting at 1911-106 Orchard Hollow Way. Authorities found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds, spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital. No further information about the incident was available.
