Raleigh, N.C. — Sunday will be a gorgeous day to get outside, and the pleasant weather will continue into the new work week, according to WRAL meteorologist Peta Sheerwood.
Sunday's sunshine and mild temperatures will be a welcome change after a rainy, windy Saturday.
"The second half of the weekend is looking good," Sheerwood said. "Highs will head into the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine to go around."
Sunday morning could be breezy, but by the afternoon, highs will warm into the upper 50s. Rain is not in the forecast.
The work week will be warmer, with highs in the low 60s expected for Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday, highs could approach 65 degrees in Raleigh.
Little to no rain is expected throughout the work week.
Thursday will make for a beautiful Thanksgiving day. The day will be brisk, with a high in the upper 50s, and there will be plenty of sunshine.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the low 50s for Friday and the weekend as people pack up their fall decorations and start decorating for winter.
