I was out at Duke Gardens this morning and learned that the garden still has a few openings available in the second week of its popular summer camp.

Spots are available during the week of June 21 to June 25 in the Nature Adventures Camp. The camp is for kids ages 8 to 11, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $140 (for non-members).

And there's some news. Annie Nashold, director of children's education at the gardens, also tells me that next summer they plan to add two more weeks of camp so they can expand their summer offerings for kids.

We managed to dodge some of the rain and walked through quickly this morning. It's gorgeous. Lots of flowers still in bloom.
