Students charged with assault after fight at Corinth Holders HS

Three Johnston County students have been charged with assault following a fight on school grounds.

The fight, which was recorded and posted to Facebook, happened Monday at Corinth Holders High School.

In the video, two teenagers are seen hitting a student. A third student then steps in and throws a punch.

A spokesman with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said three people have been charged with simple assault, but their names have not been released.

District officials didn’t say whether the students have been suspended, but told WRAL News all disciplinary actions taken against the students fall in line with the student code of conduct.
