Student brings loaded gun to Charlotte school
A loaded gun was found on the campus of a Charlotte school on Monday morning.
Posted — UpdatedCHARLOTTE, N.C. — A loaded gun was found on the campus of a Charlotte school on Monday morning.
The gun was found on a student at the entrance to Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology in west Charlotte.
A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools representative confirmed to WCNC the weapon was found while a student was going through a body scanner.
The school wasn't put on lockdown and the student was not identified.
