— An early-morning fire on Saturday destroyed a strip club that had already been damaged by another fire earlier in the week.

Firefighters were called out to Cloud Nine, 459 W. Russel St., around 2:30 a.m., said Battalion Commander Mike Hill, with the Fayetteville Fire Department.

The fire spread to two other businesses in the same building before firefighters contained it around 3 a.m.

Hill said that Cloud Nine, a barbershop and the Little Inn Luncheonette were destroyed.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire had not been determined. They were continuing to investigate.

Another fire heavily damaged the topless club early Monday morning. Other buildings sustained smoke damage.

Firefighters said an electrical malfunction caused the first fire.
