Your guide to Taylor Swift-inspired events in the Triangle

Put on your friendship bracelets and Eras Tour outfits and prepare to celebrate Taylor Swift in Raleigh, Durham and Clayton.

Taylor Swift may have skipped North Carolina on The Eras Tour U.S. dates (so far), but local Swifties have ample opportunities 'Shake It Off,' exchange friendship bracelets and celebrate the 12-time Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter in Raleigh, Durham and surrounding areas.

We're sharing the growing list of Swift-themed events inspired by her world tour and album re-recordings. Most recently, on Oct. 27, she released 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and was named Time magazine's Person of the Year.

Eras Tour Party at Hunky Dory Cary - Dec. 13, 4:15-8 p.m.

Stop by Hunky Dory's new location in downtown Cary, and celebrate the release of The Eras Tour on streaming with the latest Taylor's Version vinyls and tour opener records from HAIM, Paramore, Girl in Red and Phoebe Bridgers.

Taylor Swift Karaoke Birthday Party at Tin Roof Raleigh - Dec. 13 at 8 p.m.

Hit up Glenwood Avenue's Tin Roof Raleigh with your fellow Swifties to celebrate in Taylor's birthday, karaoke style. The event is 21+.

Make Friendship Bracelets with Heir Raleigh at Teets Bar - Dec. 13 from 8-9 p.m.

Get permanent friendship bracelets, listen to Taylor hits and have drinks with your besties on Glenwood South in honor of Taylor's birthday.

Meet Me at Midnight in Downtown Mebane - Dec. 30 at 10 a.m.

Downtown Mebane will transform into a Swift-themed block party with businesses representing her eras. The main street will feature a DJ for sing-a-longs and dancing. Take photos in the Swiftie photo booth, and get some pop-up merch. Organizers plan to have a number of giveaways and surprises for guests.

Adult Nights (Taylor's Version) at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences - Feb. 23

Plan ahead for the museum's next Adult Nights event featuring dancing, friendship bracelets, singing and interactive activities. Costumes are encouraged for the 21+ event. Tickets are available now.

Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift at The Merrimon-Wynne House - Oct. 3 at 9 p.m.

String quartet Lyricosa will perform some of Swift’s most popular songs by candlelight at The Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh on Oct. 3. Limited tickets remain, but there are two options – $40 or $50. Attendees must be 8+. The event will take place again on Nov. 21.

Industry's Swiftie Pregame Party - Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.

Downtown Raleigh's Industry will host a pregame party for Swifties Oct. 5 to celebrate Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film. The 21+ event is free and will include music, themed drinks, dancing, a photobooth, food and a friendship bracelet crafting station.

The Taylor Party - Oct. 7 at 8:30 p.m.

"The Taylor Party" at The Ritz in Raleigh will take place on Oct. 7. The Swift-inspired dance party is touring the country, and attendees are encouraged to don their Eras outfits and come ready to sing and dance through the night. Tickets range in price from $20-$70, and you must be 18+ to attend.

Taylor Fest, A Taylor Swift Dance Party - Oct. 7 at 9 p.m.

If you're closer to Durham, Motorco will host its third “Taylor Fest, A Taylor Swift Dance Party.” You must be 18+ to attend. Tickets are available for $22.

End of an Eras: Taylor Swift Trivia - Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.

One day before Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour premieres in theaters, Fuzzy Brain Trivia will host “End of an Eras: Taylor Swift Trivia'' at Alamo Drafthouse in Raleigh. The event starts at 7 p.m. Each team can have up to six people.

Eat Macarons on Swiftie Day - Oct. 15 and 22 at noon

Mon Macaron will serve up a full pastry case including custom printed macarons with all of Taylor's album covers on Oct. 15 at their Cary location on W. Chatham St. and on Oct. 22 at their Raleigh location in Seaboard Station. They will play Taylor Swift music all day and serve specialty drinks including: Lavendar Haze Lemonade Refresher, Wonderstruck Latte, Lover Refresher and Taylor's Chai Sugar Cookies Latte.

1989 (Taylor's Version) Release Party - Oct. 29 at 12 p.m.

Voters’ Choice Award winner Enchanted On Main will host a 1989 Release Party on Oct. 29 from noon to 5 p.m. in Clayton in celebration of the release of Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version). Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on the boutique’s website. The event will feature ear piercings, champagne, live music, a coffee bar, a “red lip classic” lipstick bar and more.

Taylor Swift Trivia - Red Lipped Moment - Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Wine & Design will hold Taylor Swift Trivia - Red Lipped Moment on Nov. 10 at their location in Union Station Raleigh. The party is BYOB, and attendees can participate in trivia while painting. It’s recommended that guests are 18+, and anyone who is under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $40.
