13-year-old Kolby Ipock from Clayton was captured on a doorbell camera while trick-or-treating in a neighborhood when he came across a home that ran out of candy.

He decided to take matters into his own hands, and left candy from his own haul in the bowl for other trick-or-treaters.

"I just saw the bucket and I was like, 'Okay, well, there's nothing in there. I might as well put some in there," he said. "I just figured some of the smaller kids might still be out. Might as well give them a chance."

Kolby said he also thought his gesture would be helpful to the homeowners.

His mom called this a "proud mama moment," and said Kolby often does kind things for people when no one is watching.
