Wool E.'s Winter Wonderland brings holiday fun to DBAP

WRAL and The Durham Bulls are excited to announce Wool E. Bull’s Winter Wonderland – a walk-through holiday light event. This holiday experience is set to transform Durham Bulls Athletic Park into a winter wonderland, bringing joy and holiday magic to families and friends throughout the area.

Wool E. Bull’s Winter Wonderland will open its gates on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and run on select dates through Dec. 31, giving visitors a unique opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in a truly special way.

“We are excited to bring this unique holiday event to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park,” said Durham Bulls General Manager Tyler Parsons. “We will transform the ballpark into a magical winter wonderland for all ages and look forward to making memories with your families during the holidays.”

Stroll through the concourse and view several large-scale light installations including specially designed neon pieces from local artist Nate Sheaffer of  Glas.

Have a chat with Santa or maybe his favorite elf, Wool E. Claus! 

The Home Plate Beer Garden will be transformed into the Arctic Chill Tavern! Seasonal snack items are available for purchase at the concourse concession stands.

Reserve an igloo in the infield for a special, private experience. Enjoy tasty refreshments while taking in the holiday magic from a wonderfully cozy spot. 

Grab a tube and hit one of the six Frosty Fun Hill slopes at Wool E. Bull's Winter Wonderland.

You  can’t have a winter wonderland without snow, and with snow comes sledding!  Grab a tube and hit one of the six Frosty Fun Hill slopes. Sledding tickets are purchased separately from event admission.

All aboard the Bulls Express! Travel around the DBAP outfield in holiday style!

All this holiday fun can make you hungry and thirsty! Fantastic  food and beverage options will be available for purchase at Jingle Bell Bistro including a full bar.

More than 13,000 lights covering 4 miles will transform the stands into a fantastic light show!  It’s  a spectacular combination of colors and music!
