Woman shot overnight in Raleigh; police investigating separate crime scenes connected to shooting

A woman was shot late Wednesday night in Raleigh, and police are investigating two scenes related to the shooting.

Raleigh Police received a call about shots fired in the 3900 block of Neeley Street.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

A car was found near the 1800 block of New Bern Avenue and Raleigh Boulevard. Police confirmed that the two scenes are related.

It is not clear if there are any additional victims.

The investigation is ongoing.
