Woman robs Fayetteville bank

A woman robbed a Fayetteville bank Tuesday morning, police said.

The woman walked into Carter Bank & Trust at 697 Country Club Drive shortly before 10:30 a.m., demanded money from a teller and left in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

She was described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds, wearing a white scarf, a light tan trench coat, dark dress pants and black boots.
