Woman robbed at knifepoint at ATM

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office investigators were searching Wednesday for a man who robbed a woman at knifepoint at an automated teller machine over the weekend.

The woman told investigators that she withdrew $40 from a Cash Points ATM on Dunn Road in Eastover shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, and a man approached her, put a knife to her throat, demanded the money and sped off in a white Toyota Camry.

Investigators said the robber is a white man, possibly in his mid 40s. He was last seen wearing camouflage pants with a dark-colored sweatshirt and baseball-style cap.
