Woman killed in rollover crash in Rocky Mount

Officials say a highway in the east is reopened after a fatal single vehicle accident that happened Sunday morning.

According to WITN, one person was killed in a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 64 near 301 Bypass in Nash County.

According to Lieutenant Seighman with Rocky Mount police, the victim was a 26-year-old woman. Her name has not been released.

Police said that the victim was the only one inside the car, and she died at the scene.

The westbound lane of Highway 64 was closed after the accident but has since reopened.
