Woman killed, 3 others hurt in fiery Raleigh car crash

A woman was killed and three people were injured in a fiery car crash early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 4 a.m. near the intersection of North Raleigh Boulevard and Millbank Street. Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital with what police described as "very serious injuries."

A look from the scene showed the front of the car was charred and the driver had apparently driven off the road onto the sidewalk. There were no other vehicles involved.

Police are investigating what led to the crash.
