Woman injured in Harnett wreck

A two-car wreck east of Angier injured a female passenger late Saturday, state troopers said.

The wreck occurred at Old Stage Road and Benson Road around 10:30 p.m. The driver of one car failed to yield to the other, troopers said.

A woman was transported to WakeMed Raleigh. Troopers said her relatives believed her injuries were non-life-threatening.

The driver of the car in which the injured passenger rode was charged with failing to yield, troopers said.
