Prison escapee captured at Wake Forest University

A man escaped from Forsyth Correctional Center in Winston-Salem on Sunday night was captured early Monday, officials said.

Brandon Brim, 28, was arrested by Wake Forest University Police at about 2 a.m. as he was trying to break into vehicles, officials said.

Brim, a minimum-custody inmate serving seven years in prison for habitual breaking and entering, escaped from Forsyth Correctional four hours earlier.
